Scott: Mark loves Kate

Detective Mark Brennan is a man of principles, so when he found out girlfriend Kate had lied to him during the "who pushed Paul?" investigation, he ended their relationship.
But that doesn't mean he stopped loving her and now the Ramsay Street policeman gets jealous when he sees her getting close to Kyle Canning.
Scott McGregor, who plays Brennan, told Inside Soap magazine: "Brennan never fell out of love with Kate.
"He broke up with her because she lied to him, but now he's had time to think about everything, he can see the issue isn't that black and white."
Scott added: "He doesn't like the idea of Kate being with anyone else, least of all Kyle. he's had several run-ins with Kyle already and thinks the guy is an idiot.
"He comes up with a reason to summon her to the station, which Kate sees right through! She gives nothing away, so Brennan thinks he's too late."
Deep down Kate still feels the same for Brennan as well, but some bad advice from her pal Jade, who has her eye on the hunky cop for herself, could mean the pair never rekindle their romance.
Scott revealed: "Jade loves to meddle. So when Kate confesses she still likes Brennan, Jade reckons that she should play hard to get."
We already know Jade and Brennan are set to have a fling and Scott McGregor will leave the soap this summer.

Is there any chance of a happy ending for Kate and Brennan?
