It's been one helluva year for Ramsay Street's Lyn Scully: in the space of a few months alone, we've watched her battle Paul's blackmail, the heartache of Steph's imprisonment and the horror of seeing her home go up in flames.
But, just as we were beginning to wonder how much more one woman could take, there may be hope of a fresh start for Lyn, with news that alter ego Janet Andrewartha is moving on to pastures new.
'I originally came back in a guest role and ended up staying for nearly two years, so the extra time has been a bonus,' Janet tells TV Week. 'It's been tremendous fun and I'll miss it, but it's time to try some new things. At the moment I'm looking at some projects that I'm very excited about, which may take me interstate or overseas.'
Janet, whose final scenes will air in Australia over the summer, first starred in Neighbours between 1999 and 2006. She briefly returned in 2008 for a storyline which saw Lyn enjoy the ultimate revenge on ex-love Paul Robinson, not only exposing his affair with Kirsten but also exchanging her short-lived silence for a slice of his fortune.
In 2009, Janet gave us one of the most memorable comedy scenes in recent Neighbours history when Lyn crashed into Erinsborough to call a halt to Paul and Rebecca's wedding - resulting in a scrag fight with the bride-to-be.
So, will you be sad to see Lyn go? And what for you have been her most memorable moments?

Nobody cared. What a world.
